Swimming and running between Italy and Slovenia for GO! 2025, Nova Gorica-Gorizia European Capital of Culture

On August 2, 2025 from 17:00, a unique aquathlon race will be held: the NO BORDER AQUATHLON!
This is the first cross-border aquathlon race that crosses borders and crosses two states: Italy and Slovenia. 

With a total course of 15km of running (250 D+) and 2000mt of swimming that will take place in the respective swimming pools.

Routes:

Participants, equipped with shoes, swimming cap and goggles, will have the unique opportunity to race not only through two cities, but also two different countries, exploring the characteristic places of the Capital of Culture 2025.
The start and finish are scheduled at Transalpina Square, a square divided in half between Italy and Slovenia, an important meeting point two cities and two cultures.
